Tenacious Toys offers customers a robust program of rewards and freebies, as well as multiple payment options during checkout. Welcome to our world! We are a small team of passionate toy people. Tenacious Toys was started by Benny & Steph on a whim in 2005 with a few random toy purchases and an eBay shop . Since then, we've grown and expanded into a full-service website, blog and supporter of emerging artists around the world. We live and work in tropical New York, NY in the U. S. of A. We love vinyl art toys as well as handcrafted resin sculptures , and we always try to offer a wide selection of both for your shopping pleasure. Additionally, you will find a rotating collection of one-of-a-kind custom toys in a variety of mediums available for purchase on our site. We do happily accept inquiries from unrepresented artists seeking to place their works on our site. Tenacious Toys is a DISCOVERY ENGINE. Our overall goal with Tenacious Toys is to spread as much beautiful sculptural art around the world as we possibly can. To do that, we heavily promote artists and brands from the USA and around the world. We use our shop news blog , email lists and social media posting to do that. We have a keen interest in promoting emerging and working toy and custom artists. If you make your own toys by hand or in a factory, we want to hear from you! Discovery! Lately we've found that a vast majority of toy collectors are focused on more mass market items like Funko POPs , action figures , and blind boxes. It is our hope that we can present those items to you alongside more limited art toys like resin sculptures , one-off customs, imports, and super limited artist-designed vinyl /PVC/polystone pieces. This close placement of the higher-end products on the same pages as the mass produced items leads to a crossover for collectors, and introduce them to some of the artists and sculptural work that can be found in the super limited art pieces. There's a whole world out there of collectible sculptural artworks, and we hope our shop acts as the gateway to your discovery and enjoyment of these pieces. TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS AMAZING TOY SHOP! Our team includes a handful of people that really make the whole operation work: Benny is the daily operator, sending all the emails, running day-today operations like customer service, and controlling the Tenacious social media empire Steph helps Benny make the bigger decisions that keep us on track and in the black TT AIR (Artists in Residence): We have a close circle of artists and creators who we work with frequently to produce and release unique collectibles. Check our nav menu for a list of them. Thanks for shopping at Tenacious Toys! Your feedback is welcome and appreciated. May we never forget those who have passed on after leaving their mark on our weird little world: Ezra Talmatch : Friend, artist & neighbor, from team Toy Biz & Marvel, helped us set up and break down our first NYCC booth and made sure we understood the importance of lighting, presentation and organization. I am still friends with all the people Ez introduced me to 20 years ago. Lance "Mr Munk" Clark : Friend, artist & customizer, 3A superfan, superb artistic talent and always positive in business and friendship. We are still selling off Lance's customs and personal toy collection with proceeds benefiting his mother. Matt "Strongtree" Siegelbaum : Friend, photographer and superfan, always showed up at the shows, helped bring us to the shows, encouraged son Jacob JAMS , always ready for an adventure. Matt took the photo of us above. Jarrett "Moe" Nadrowski : Local toy, art and graff nerd! One of us! A collector and a fixture in the East coast toy scene. Whitney "Boss Lady" Kerr : Rotofugi shop co-owner, boss lady, tastemaker, career maker, always kind, helpful and supportive. Even of us. Never a competitor, more like a colleague to us. A role model. Jon Schnepp : Writer, director and King of the Sweaties . Creative genius, and member of our NYCC crew for a short time. What a force of nature. Roderick Paulus : Local supernerd. Videographer & blogger since before the iPhone. Way before. Super supportive, always kind. Loved all conventions. Lindsay Sturm : Toy nerd, supporter of artists big and small. Daniel "TASK ONE" Rowley : Friend, partner, prop master, artist. A nearly mythical legend in resin, he will always be the standard by which all other resin casters are judged. Clear resin, double casts, holographic resin sculptures. He was the resin wizard. Donate here . Frank Kozik: Legendary artist, taste maker, industry linchpin, curmudgeon, cat lover. The guy who held it all together, from the music biz to gig posters to designer toys to NFTs. Irreplaceable. Whenever you hear the grumble of a classic Charger, you're hearing Frank whispering "Fuck the system" from the great beyond. Amy Osowski: One half of Lulubell Toy Bodega (Arizona), a super cool shop supporting a similar stripe of artists and weirdos as Tenacious Toys. Super nice, super positive, great eye for wonderful toy art. Taken from us by force. We are angry about this and will not forget her. Jennifer "Scadutes" Scaduto: Scadutes, the Sammy Queen. A shining light in the toy and art scene, creator of Rufus the Rat, supporter of artists big and small. We won't forget Scadutes. Also F cancer. Help support Jen's family by donating here . Justin " El Toro ": Philly-based indy artist and sticker creator. One of us: misfit, underground, part of our fabric of beautiful artistic culture. Another talent that will not be forgotten. RIP to all of our friends - may this page remind all of you that life is very short, and that spreading smiles and positivity will always be the most important thing. See you on the other side. I better walk into a big art party when it's my turn! Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save
